Always on the hunt for steep, hollow waves, he can be found regularly at most of the top bodyboard spots on the north and south coast of Cornwall. He also has a few favourite secret spots not far from his home in Truro.<\/p><p>In 2021, Darwin finished 5th in the Cornish Bodyboard Series Under 18\u2019s Division, where he was stoked to surf alongside fellow Severn team rider Tom Catten. He is a finalist in the Cornwall Schools\u2019 bodyboard competition, which is due to be completed June this year.<\/p><p>His favourite pro riders are Tanner McDaniel and Dave Winchester, who he gets constant inspiration from. He\u2019s looking forward to hopefully score some waves further afield soon, and would love to explore South Africa and California when he gets the chance.<\/p><p>Darwin has a passion for the environment, perhaps unsurprisingly as his father Hugo runs the leading marine conservation NGO, Surfers Against Sewage. He is stoked to ride for a brand that shares so many of the same values and drive to protect Planet Ocean. He has been involved in many beach cleans and was inspired to meet Greg Long and other surfing legends at the Global Wave Conference a couple of years ago.<\/p><p>Darwin is also sponsored by The Pit Surf Shop.
