How do I enter?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

<\/p>

1. Get outside and capture your shots during the holding period. We are only accepting single photos (not sequences) from the UK taken during meteorological winter (1st December - 28th February).<\/p>

2. If you are the rider obtain permission from the photographer to use the photo.<\/p>

3. Upload your entry to your own personal Instagram account using the hashtag #winterwarrioruk and tag Winter Warrior UK<\/u><\/a>, Severn Brand<\/u><\/a>, Biskit Bodyboarding<\/u><\/a> and The Pit<\/u><\/a> in the post.<\/p>

4. Most importantly - have fun capturing your submissions!<\/p>

What happens next?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

Entries will be posted to the Winter Warrior UK Instagram page in the run up to competition closing. There will be a period of calm for 7 days before the top 12 entries are posted to the Severn Brand Instagram page.<\/p>

Once the top 12 entries are reposted on the Severn Instagram account, a voting period of 7 days will commence. Winter Warrior UK is back!<\/h3>

Following the success of last year's Winter Warrior UK photo competition we are pleased to announce the launch of the second edition.\u00a0<\/p>

As a tribute for our love for UK bodyboarding and in recognition of the many talented photographers across our isles, we are calling on submissions for a second year running. We want to encapsulate the stoke levels of the warriors braving the cold and tackling the elements during the UK\u2019s prime surf season.\u00a0<\/p>

There are prizes to be won from The Pit Surf Shop, Biskit Bodyboarding and Severn Brand for both the rider and photographer. Winter Warrior UK Photo Competition Rules<\/strong><\/h3>

1. Entries must be uploaded to Instagram by midnight Tuesday 14th March 2023 and taken within the holding period in the UK.<\/p>

The top 10 will then be posted to Severn Brand for voting to commence on Wednesday 22nd March 2023.<\/p>

2. By entering you are declaring that you are either the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered or that you have been given permission.<\/p>

3. Images may be digitally enhanced to remove spots or scratches, but not manipulated. Entrants can enhance the picture to make it brighter, clearer etc, but not manipulate the content.<\/p>

4. Each entry should be marked with name of the rider and photographer along with a caption.<\/p>

5. Entrants will retain copyright of the photographs that they submit. By entering the competition all entrants grant Severn Brand the right to publish and exhibit their photographs where seen fit.<\/p>

6. Maximum of 5 entries per person with a maximum of 2 entries per rider moving into the final stage.<\/p>

7. The winning picture may be used for the following years competition advert.<\/p>

8. Top 10 entries put into the final on the Severn Brand profile. 7 days voting period will commence from then with the winning entry the one with the most likes.<\/p>

9. This competition isn't sponsored by or associated with Instagram in anyway.<\/p>

10.
