We look at the statistics for 2021 and see how we're doing with our sustainability goals whilst delivering the products that bodyboarders want.<\/h2>

What can we say? We are truly humbled by the initial uptake of our products and the positive reviews we have had back. Many of our customers return and that's because they love what we are doing.<\/p>

Sustainable supply chains are only possible when conscientious shoppers buy the products they want to see in the world. We believe in sustainability that is positive not only in our lives but positive to nature.<\/p>

\"\"Did we mentioned that we plant trees??? Maybe once or twice! \ud83e\udd23<\/p>

Over the last twelve months we have collectively planted 59 trees. We planted a few extra at the start to make us carbon neutral since day one. This takes our overall tree planting to 101 trees <\/strong>and it's because of our customer we have been able to do it.<\/p>

We estimate that's enough trees to cover 10 tennis courts or more!<\/p>

The majority of our trees have been planted with our friends Mossy Earth <\/a><\/strong>who also help us rewild. Check out the amazing projects they have going on across Europe.<\/p>

\"\"The clothing industry is accountable for 20% of global water wastage. 20,000 litres of water is needed to make 1 kilogram of cotton. Through smart manufacturing, only making products when you need them and being part of a circular economy we have saved over 112,000 litres of water.<\/p>

This is achievable through recovery of materials destined for landfill and preventing 180,750g of CO2 emissions.<\/strong><\/p>

By using plastic free packaging to ship our products and our ONE TEE = ONE KG<\/strong> offer this year we have helped eliminate 51,801g of plastic. It doesn't sound a lot but that's the equivalent of 2,590 plastic bottles<\/strong>. We fund the recovery of a kilogram of ocean-bound plastic rubbish when our offer runs. Not only are your plastic-free products made from organic materials, but you're helping reduce plastic pollution at the same time.\u00a0<\/p>

Let's eliminate even more together in 2022!<\/p>

It would be misleading to say we don't create any CO2 emissions. It would be impossible to manufacture our products without creating any. We can however minimise them through smart manufacturing techniques and of course carbon offsetting.<\/p>

During 2021 we were responsible for 183,854g of CO2 emissions that were minimised by renewable energy at our suppliers factories and then balanced by the recovery of 12,424,600g of CO2 through tree planting, making Severn carbon neutral!<\/strong><\/p>

Together we have achieved many great things during 2021 and we look forward to a prosperous 2022. Although we are not driven by profit as with any business it is essential for us to be able to exist. The fact that we can do this whilst nature and the planet also makes a profit is something special and how we see the future of consumerism.<\/p>

We thank you all for being a part of our journey and collectively we will continue to make the right moves towards a sustainable planet. We will plant more trees. We will remove more ocean bound plastic. We will share the love and the stoke of bodyboarding to all.<\/p>
